Character Render Year Toggle

I want a feature like in Graphictoria 2016 where you can toggle render years of a specific character.
Like a render from 2008, or 2010, 2012, 2015, Or whatever.
I think this would be a cool feature.
What is your opinion on this?

doing any character rendering older than 2015 would be very unreliable and would also be slower
