Hi! This is an update on the events that occurred on April 2nd, 2022. We will attempt to be as transparent as possible and hopefully answer any question that you may have. This post may be updated with new information as it comes out. We implore you to read all of this in order to fully get a grasp of the situation at hand. Edits, if any are performed, will be clearly marked in the replies.
TL;DR: XlXi is a malicious manchild that has used his power on Graphictoria to spread and retrieve people's personal information. He harbors pedophiles and neo-Nazis on his platform, and the events that happened on 4/2/2022 are the result of him trying to save himself from irrelevancy. He is fully responsible for the attempted doxing of Tadah members. Tadah will not shut down.
Believe these are bold claims? Read on.
To begin, Tadah server hosting has been completely disabled indefinitely. We aim to resume server activity relatively soon. There will be no guarantees, but Tadah will not shut down.
XlXi, the owner of Graphictoria, is wholly responsible for this. He has decided to log IP addresses and dox Tadah users to make himself and his revival look better. Furthermore, he has made this log public for anybody to see. We will attempt to establish a motif for why XlXi has done this throughout this forum post, but note that understanding XlXi requires extensive background knowledge of him, and as such this forum post will be fairly long.
We have irrefutable evidence proving XlXi's responsibility. To begin with, let us establish the following facts:
To begin, we can easily figure out that tadah-logger.cf points to the IP address 76.190.219.176. We can do this using cURL, a powerful command line utility that allows us to further inspect websites with custom parameters. By setting the host header to tadah-logger.cf, and requesting XlXi's IP address, we receive the following:
You may run the command yourself by running curl 76.190.219.176/log -H "Host: tadah-logger.cf"
.
The above output has been verified on other machines viewable here, here, here, and here. Additionally, video evidence has been taken, viewable here (archive) and here (archive). At the time of writing, you can still retrieve the same output -- but by the time you have read this, the website has probably been taken down by XlXi.
XlXi first notified people of the existence of this website through another Discord account, named dddddd#2649 (18) (ID: 1509173241751797799 (19)). He was not very subtle about this -- he began asking Tadah users whether or not Tadah worked well with a VPN (20). He talks like XlXi, using many of his catchphrases. Messages to Tadah users came at 9:55 P.M. EST, around the time his alternate account roger was spotted in-game on Tadah servers (13), (14), logging IP addresses. We do not have conclusive evidence that our friend ddddddd is XlXi himself, but given that they talk just like XlXi and express similar mannerisms (21) (22), we can safely say that XlXi and ddddddd are one and the same.
The funniest part of this is that XlXi states that he was framed (21) (22), (23), (24), (25), despite all evidence leading back to him. He attempted to shift the blame on me, Carrot, to remove himself from the situation (26), (27). He still continues to lie about not having ownership of this website, and we expect that he will never own up to it. We will talk more about XlXi's constant lies throughout this forum post.
Additionally, XlXi shares responsibility for the attempted doxing of Tadah staff members. People that he is close with, such as sleep (28), JoshUNBI (29), and more, have attempted to dox kinery, the owner of Tadah.
We do not know yet whether or not XlXi directed or planned for this to happen, but we do know that XlXi allowed for these users to remain on Graphictoria even after he knew that they were malicious individuals. Therefore, we may safely say that XlXi shares some or all responsibility for the continued doxxing and harassment of Tadah staff members. Screenshots of this fact are provided below;
As stated before, Tadah server hosting has been suspended for the time being until we believe it is safe enough to open up server hosting again. We have said many times in the past that by joining or creating a Tadah server, you immediately put your IP at risk because of security faults that exist in these old clients, as well as the fundamentals of self hosting being insecure in and of itself. To solve this, we'd have to create dedicated servers and release whole new clients.
We have previously made it obvious that Tadah, as it stands, is insecure. We put user security as our top priority, and we have been transparent of this fact -- as early as February of this year. We have never pretended that the self hosting mechanism is secure, and we continue to strongly advise against self hosting -- you should only play with people you trust and people you know.
The only step to combat this is a full, fundamental rewrite and restructure of Tadah. And, as such, we are doing exactly that -- with progress reports having been released for both this February and this March. Self hosting servers will be officially deprecated in the rewrite, and the only manner of hosting available will be dedicated servers.
Only a handful of users had their IP address leaked by XlXi. The following users listed below were affected, and are entitled to 1,000 Tokens, one hat of their choice that is onsale, and optional deletion of their Tadah account.
To understand why XlXi has done such a despicable thing, we first need to understand who XlXi is.
XlXi is the owner of Graphictoria, one of the largest old Roblox revivals by user size. XlXi comes from the highly conservative state of Ohio, and accordingly reflects conservative views such as homophobia (1) and racism (2). He is also apparently old enough to attend college (3), (4). Graphictoria is a old Roblox revival that has a long, long history -- starting from its humble roots in early 2016, and has continually been the subject of drama ever since.
Graphictoria was created by EnergyCell, a not-so-humble PHP programmer hailing from the Netherlands. There is a lot to be covered about the time before XlXi assumed EnergyCell's role as Graphictoria's owner, but it would be too much to fit into this one forum post. So, to keep this post as short as possible, we have purposefully omitted most of that history.
There are a couple highlights about EnergyCell, though.
As owner of Graphictoria, he hired "X" (name retracted) as moderator -- who was then 11 years old. Through his alter ego of Lizk he pressured "X" into sending nudes of himself (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13). We may safely say that at the age of 16, and asking and receiving nudes from an 11 year old, EnergyCell is a child predator. A full video was published about this named TEO E+G back in 2017.
EnergyCell is also an individual who threatens suicide by saying he will "take his sleeping pills" whenever something bad goes wrong (14). EnergyCell is unable to handle any criticsm, and is obviously someone who is too mentally unfit to handle an internet community of such size.
That is where XlXi comes in! After many shutdowns, EnergyCell passed over Graphictoria to him. The inner workings of how this happened is still unknown, of course -- but it is safe to say that:
To this day, XlXi still uses the same code that EnergyCell has passed down to him. Graphictoria is a product that EnergyCell fully created, that XlXi has little part in -- and it is all-but-obvious that XlXi is insecure of this fact. This brings us to our first main point about XlXi.
XlXi is an extremely insecure person. He will stop at nothing to prove that he is the best at what he does, and will go so far to lie in order to accomplish this. He brags about stuff that aren't his, lies about stuff that he doesn't know anything about, and envies people that do better than him.
For example;
The latest in his line of depressing attacks on others is what has happened now -- an all-out assault on Tadah because he saw a progress report (17).
We can say with certainty that XlXi is jealous of Tadah. Graphictoria is a ever-dying revival. It does not have games yet -- Tadah does. Graphictoria has a racist, bigoted community full of characters like peis, a borderline neo-Nazi (18); sleep, a factory-produced 4chan edgelord; and Luizcholtz, another neo-Nazi. To save himself from irrelevancy, XlXi starts drama like this time and time again to keep his name in people's mouths.
We would have ignored XlXi this time and not succumbed to this petty drama had he not decided to go after Tadah's community itself. We at Tadah can handle any sort of personal attacks that XlXi may bring us, and have done so in the past. At the same time, though, we simply do not tolerate attacks on our community, especially doxing.
However, doxing is not new for XlXi.
XlXi is a bully who seeks to silence others by doxing, slandering, and harassing them. Whether or not this is the byproduct of the same being done to him in the past, we will never know -- but things like these are learned skills. It does not come to someone naturally that you will dox them from existence because they have opinions at odds with yours.
So far, XlXi has doxed me (1), (2) (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), Epiculy (8), (9), and members of Graphictoria (10), (11), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17). Why, you may ask?
Note that most of these justifications are made up. XlXi has taken no issue to the Kyle Wagness joke, even going so far as to make fun of it himself. His friends have as well. Yet, when others do it, it isn't okay? Note that Kyle Wagness or Kent State University do not contain any of his actual personal information, or is anything close to an actual joke -- simply an inside joke that got out of control.
XlXi also has a strange habit of looking through the Graphictoria database to find people that have regrettably trusted him too much, and then saying that it is possible to get their personal information. This ties in with his continued bragging and inferiority complex.
XlXi's modus operandi consists of the following;
He has done so about me previously, and is now repeating the same process for Tadah. He says that Tadah is a supposed virus that seeks to compromise it's own users. This is projecting; he has, as stated previously, used Graphictoria to retrieve the personal information of people that he doesn't like.
Though these allegations are simply untrue, I would like to let the Tadah community know that we would rather shutdown completely and have everything we have go to complete waste than use Tadah as a means of getting dirt on our users. Note that Tadah's launcher is fully open sourced, and that we do not have an anti cheat, so there is no feasible way of us even compromising computers in the first place.
XlXi has also spread these same lies about Tadah for Mercury and Polygon (1), (2), other competitor revivals with XlXi's Graphctoria. He cannot make any project that can succeed by himself -- he must take others down in order to win. Yet, time has come and gone, and none of these allegations have been proven true.
As always, XlXi's allegations falter under simple scrutiny.
To conclude, XlXi is a bad person. Stay away from Graphictoria. One thing we can predict, now knowing his background, is what his response to this post would be. So, I'll make predictions first;
To address one of the points before he says it first, the screenshots of my direct message with XlXi don't have profile pictures and are formatted weirdly. This is a quirk of DiscordChatExporter, the program I used to export the chat logs. XlXi decided to delete all his messages with me because he was scared of hamburger (1), (2), (3). These are the best screenshots I have. My apologies.
That is all. We are Tadah. We remain.
